This partnership is brought to life through the curation of three fabrics—two for indoor use and one for outdoor—by British designer Paul Smith, selected by QuartoSala to upholster the BICAchair in its high stool, classic, and lounge versions.
By bringing the Portuguese Chair indoors, QuartoSala aims to reposition one of the most recognizable icons of Portuguese urban furniture.
The choice of Paul Smith fabrics highlights this act of reinterpretation, preserving the original spirit of the piece while giving it a new expression—more intimate, cosmopolitan, and sophisticated.
