The Bossa chair celebrates 10 years

The designer Jader Almeida, who is exclusively represented in Portugal by QuartoSala, designed the Bossa chair a decade ago.

This chair represents the early involvement of the young Brazilian designer with the furniture industry. It was designed in 2007.

It has a solid wood structure, with upholstered seat and backrest in woven rattan straw.

The Bossa brings to the memory formal elements of the traditional Brazilian furniture, but one that remains up to date for the years ahead.

In 2017, commemorating the first decade of the Bossa chair, the Bossa launched a limited edition of 300 signed chairs, with a structure in natural tone Ash wood, and seat and backrest in natural ratten straw in aged tone, with a version of seat and backrest in aramida straw in black tone.

The Bossa chair is to the present day one of the most cherished and recognisable pieces in the vast array of designs of Jader Almeida.

Congratulations to the designer in the 10th anniversary of the Bossa chair.
