TECA Bar Cart by Jader Almeida

01/10/2018

The TECA bar cart combines functionality with the streamlined aesthetics that characterize the work of Brazilian designer Jader Almeida.

The simplicity of lines, the geometrical themes, and the perfectly constructed details confer a timeless aesthetics to Jader Almeida designs, which reflect the search for rationality and pure form the designer seeks for his creations.

The TECA bar cart solid metal framework encloses all the elements that compose it: a laminated wood top in oak, walnut, or beech, a base, and a removable bin. The cart seems to float over its four metal disc wheels.

Jader Almeida studied architecture and urban planning. Early in his life he started designing furniture, leading him to collaborate with iconic designers such as Sergio Rodrigues.

Almeida is the most renowned of the young generation of Brazilian designers, having received a number of prestigious national and international design awards.

The TECA Bar cart is available in a 100 cm or 150 cm width, a height of 75 cm and a 40 cm depth.

The TECA Collection has other products such as the coffee table, the buffet and the shelve which can be found at QuartoSala stores in Lisbon.
