Brazilian Design Store Gets a Fresh New Look

08/05/2025

QuartoSala has refreshed the curation at the entrance of its store dedicated to Brazilian creators, right in the heart of Lisbon’s Príncipe Real.

With this change, we want to give more visibility to the true stars of our story: the creators and their pieces.

Now it’s easier to explore works by authors like Sergio Rodrigues, Paulo Mendes da Rocha, and Flavio de Carvalho.

These masters of modernism, whose creations were so significant in the 1950s and 1960s, deeply influenced Brazilian design with their innovative approaches and authentic materials.

QuartoSala’s journey into the rich world of Brazilian design began about 10 years ago with the opening of our store on Rua da Escola Politécnica, marking the start of this cultural bridge between Portugal and Brazil — a connection shaped by historical, linguistic, and artistic ties.

Today, we continue to celebrate this shared heritage and promote the rich aesthetics of design made in Brazil, strengthening the presence of contemporary designers like Jader Almeida, the Campana Brothers, Ana Neute, and Pedro Paulo Venzon, while also featuring a curated selection of international design brands that harmoniously engage in dialogue.

We look forward to your visit!
